I am making tiles and am looking for vinyl disks to attach to the bottom
so they don't knock on furniture. I've tried cork and deccofelt but
they are a mess if they get wet. I have looked in all my art supply
catalogs and havent' found anything vinyl or rubber. Can anyone point
me in the right direction? I know they exist because in the Sundance
catalog there are some tile coasters with vinyl disks which is exactly
what I am looking for.
Also what kind of epoxy would you recommend?

Axner sells little rubber stick on pads - not expensive.

There are little rubber bumpers to put on the bottom backs of pictures frames
to keep them from scraping on the wall. United Mfrs. in NYC ought to have
these- I think they have an 800 # . If you can't find it let me know and
I'll look in my file cabinet Monday
They are probably self adhesive, but if not, I'd try Barge Cement (shoe
repair guys have this; so do I)

I don't know about vinyl, but Aftosa carries self adhesive neoprene in
various sizes, from 1/2" to 4" diameter rounds as well as 18" x 12" sheets.
Phone 800-231-0397. I use them on trivets and they work well.

3M Corporation makes all these items in various shapes, colors, and rubber
durometers, etc. etc. Your local #M distributer can advise.

Hardware stores sell those little vinyl discs for putting under furniture
legs or lamp bases. Look in that department. And they are self sticking so
you don't need epoxy.

Try contacting a local frame shop. I have gotten clear plastic disc with
self stick adhesive on the flat side from a frame shop before. The use them
for the backside of picture frames.
Good luck

Mary,
Stores that carry supplies for cabinet-making carry stick-on vinyl
bumpers that are used to keep drawers from banging when they're opened
and closed.
