I am showing at the SOFA Chicago Art fair. I will be in Chicago between
31st October - 9th November and would like any suggestions on places to
visit during my stay ( Museums, art collections, ceramic galleries and
general areas of interest in and around Chicago AND any good PUBS!!!)

Dear Peter - Love your work. Start w/ your (Past & present??) gallery
Martha Schneider. Also Lill St. Gallery & Studios. Clay scene in Chicago isn't
what it used to be. Art Institute has some but separates American from European
side of bldg. (They really don't get it about contemporary a
American ceramics.) Their photog. is great - ask Martha who now shows photog.
Tucci Milan, Bangkok Star on Fullerton Ave. if driving. Jazz!!! Jazz Showcase
is worth every $ of cover, no minimum. Very pleasant room booking the
biggest names live is a thrill. Do NOT go zooming off to just any old neighborh
write me directly before you leave home. I live in both Chicago & Alfred NY.
