Going to be in Manhatan as in NYC and want to visit some choice craft
galleries. I'm sure there are people out there with favourites they'd like
to recommend. It's been a long time since I've visited and middle age must
be rotting my brain because I can't remember the names of any of the places
I used to haunt except the American Craft Museum.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Specifics are tough without knowing when you'll be here. Especially this
time of year, there'll be something outdoors every weekend, e.g., there's a
show at the Kensico Dam plaza in Valhalla (that's just a skooch north of
Manhattan in Westchester Co. and worth the view, too) this weekend. Besides
wandering the ACM, the East Village and such, you'll really need to check the
papers for gallery shows open the right time for you - and don't neglect the
Met, whether they're having a special exhibit or have just the "standard"
ceramics on display. Hope you enjoy your visit,
