"An Englishman in New York," and Conneticut,
and New England, primarily to meet up
with partner, who is working there for a while,
but will be taking a break in the work to
visit some potters if there are any out there
who would be happy for us to drop in. I am
particularly interested in wood and salt firing
and kiln building. I designed and built the
wood/salt kiln at the International Potters
Festival in Aberystwyth in Wales in July for
Micki Schloessingk. It was a great success, so if
there are any of you out there would like
to hear about it perhaps we could meet up.I also
work for the Bath Potters Supply Co so
are there any suppliers in the area that are
worth calling in on.
I shall be there from the 15 th Sept till 10 th
Oct.
Regards to all you "Clay Arters" Paul Stubbs

Sorry to send this to the list but I managed to erase the address of the
sender....

Hi Paul! I am an englishwoman (originally from Taunton) living in southern
New Hampshire. Although I do not do wood firing myself, I have a few
friends here who do, and who, I'm sure, would be happy for you to come and
visit. You may hear from a couple of them who are on Clayart.
One friend of mine is the curator of a great current exhibition at an
art institute here of the work of New Hampshire wood-firing potters -
there's some great stuff going on round here, so please come and visit if
you can! He is not on the list, but I have spoken to him and he would be
happy to introduce you to people and try and set up studio visits. Let me
know if you are interested!

I sent a similar message to this yesterday, but didn't see it come through
today, so am sending it again. Sorry if it is a repeat!
