I'm new to the Denver area and want to get my hands back in clay.
Ultimately, I'd like to get my own studio or share one with a kiln, but
for now I'd just like to take some classes somewhere to ge reconnected.
Any suggestions about where to head in Denver?

Front Range Community College in Westminster (10 or 15 minutes down the
turnpike from Denver) has a nice program and facilities and the instruction
is great. The facilities are open to students when other classes aren't in
there, too.

Another facility that I hear great things about is the Arvada Center for
Arts & Humanities (303) 431-3080.
If none of that sounds good, try calling the local clay supplier, Mile Hi
and ask their advice (303) 825-4570.

In addition to the Arvada Center I would recommend the Arapahoe Community
College. Kathy Holt runs a great program there with lots of opportunity
to learn and a nurturing welcomming atmosphere that is vital to doing good
work in a class/group studio situation.
