for making a web page? like front page or something like it..
have a friend who wants to help me do this...

AOLpress, formerly GNNpress, formerly Navipress is available free for the
download at http://www.tools.gnn.com/press/index.html or thereabouts. I'm
not sure about the address but it should get you close. The new version
does frames.

Shareware can be downloaded from many sites. Most of it is available on
a trial basis and some of it self destructs after the trial period. Hot
Dog Pro is a good program, can be downloaded for 30 days, and Adobe
PageMill is available for trial. Both of these are full-fledged html
editors. If you search shareware through Yahoo you will find sites that
list many programs by category, and will list various html editors.
Image editing software is also available for tryout, if you have access
to scanned images or can scan your own.
If you still have trouble finding a program to download e-mail me
directly for more specifics.
