Hi

I have a PHS motorized kick wheel for sale. I live in St. Catharines,
Ontario (about 10 minutes from Niagara Falls, NY). My husband built a new
splash pan for it and I have added a bicycle seat on it. It has a new
flywheel and drive shaft--asking $200. Canadian. Great wheel but takes up
quite a bit of room.

Western Maryland College in Westminster Maryland. They are 200.00 each. They
are used but working They take up too much space in my new smaller classroom
and the students use the smaller newer electrics. I can not ship them ,you
must make arrangements with me to pick them up.

Very reluctantly, I am forced to sell my shimpo RK7 (I think) potter's
wheel. This is the one with a sixteen inch wheelhead (undrilled), splash
guard and side controls. I have used it rarely since it's purchase in the
Mid 80's due to either family raising or the fact that with long legs and
bad knees, side controls are not comfortable for me. It has a new belt (the
configuration is similar to the amaco wheel) and works fine. Rough in
appearance, since it has been stored forever, but still a good strong
workhorse. I am asking best offer over $500, but need a quick sale so the
price is negotiable. Please email me off list at Bicham12@hotmail.com if
you are interested and don't be insecure if I don't get back to you
immediately, I am moving and the computer is not wired. I'm using my son's
when I can get to it. Beth P.S. Still have one large kiln, in need of
repairs to off load also. Let me know.

This is a "Jerri" wheel as I am told.. A woman named
Jerri who worked in Valley Pissoni's (sp on the whole
name)studio in the mid 50's made it ... Kind of cool
that a woman made it in the 50's.... Anyway... Its a
great wheel I just never use it anymore because
shortly after I got it I was given a Brent kick wheel
with a motor.. Big difference!! So I am thinking I
should make some space for a new shelf that is much
needed and would like to sell it .. I am thinking a
couple few hundred dollars but I am up for offers..

I will not ship it..
I will not move it...
I will help take it apart...
I will help by giving info on what I learned in moving
it
I did move it here with two trips in a compact
car(that was a major trick)
I am in Maryland USA

What else can I tell you??
Questions & offers off list please.. Vual7@yahoo.com

Also in making space I have a list of stray items on
my web page...

Golly, a Shimpo Washington? Oh, oops ... wrong Washington ... and
According to Mapquest, I can pick it up with a trip of just 2863 miles,
so
It'd be 5726 round trip ... that's if she's in Adams Morgan, if she's up
Wyoming avenue or something, it'd be farther ... darn it, another wheel

AMACO Electric Potter's Wheel No. 1 Wheel with No.1B Wheelstand
and Special Throwing Head Set (A and B).

Professional potter selling this wheel - AMACO and potter both live in
Indianapolis and this wheel has been regularly (and recently) checked
out by manufacturer and is in PRISTINE shape. AMACO retails this
unit for over $1250.00. I will sacrifice for $500 (obo) (plus shipping). I
bought this wheel new and have put very little use in it as I have used it
primarily for school demos because it weighs only 67 pounds and will
easily toss in the trunk of my Honda Accord.

If you want a visual and total specs on this wheel, check out
www.americanceramics.com and go to AMACO Electric Potter's Wheel
No. 1. (please note that I am referring this site for information and that
this company is not selling this particular wheel)

For Sale: Unused Thomas Stuart Kickwheel
Motorized Attachment included
Splashpan included
12 inch wheel head

Asking $650 (retail value is $820)

Kickwheel was originally purchased in October 2003 and assembled -- but
never used. (I have relocated and no longer have a studio.) This is a
hearty wheel for those on a budget -- Thomas Stuart brand is very
dependable.

The advantage of a motorized kickwheel is in the ability to switch between
the power of electricity and the sensitivity of the kickwheel. (I like to
throw with electric assistance but do the final pulls and trim with the
sensitivity of a kickwheel.) This way, you can have a good wheel for the
price of one of those affordable, but way too zippy, electric-only wheels.
You will have power, control, and affordability with a motorized
kickwheel.

The wheel is currently unassembled. If buyer lives in the Midwest, for a
modest delivery fee, I will drive it out and assist with assembly. Wheel is
in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

SUBJECT: 2 Randall Motorized Wheels FOR SALE
I still have 2 Randall motorized kickwheels for sale. It seems their bulk &
weight have been issues in their finding a new home so I've dismantled
them. That makes the heaviest piece the flywheel with shaft attached. (the
shaft can also be removed) Re-assembly would take about 30 minutes because
they are very simple machines! Although they were manufactured at different
times, they are virtually the same. Each has a tabletop of about 16" x 34",
adjustable tractor seat (in/out & up/down), bucket wheel head, 1/3HP motor
(that works), extra rubber drive wheel for the motor and some very old
plaster bats that fit the bucket heads.
They are too big for my studio and I have 2 Clay Boss wheels coming next
week that will occupy the real estate the Randall wheels take up now.
I would like to have $300 each or $500 for both. Email me for a jpeg if
interested.
If you think $300 is excessive, let me know what would work for you and
I'll try to find a way to work it out. I'm located in North Myrtle Beach SC
and could even be talked into helping transport them (maybe).

Hi there,

I would be very interested, except for the enormous
distance NE PA to S SC. Would take me 2 days each way.
Do you have any idea what transportation costs might
be? I just paid $400/$450 for my kiln...perhaps in
that neighborhood? That would really bring it too high
for me.

Another possibility is if the 2nd wheel would go
toward DC, NYC or Philly/Baltimore. Then I'd pay that
person his/her transp. cost (if they drive) and take
it from there.

Keep me in mind for 2nd thought, ok? And I may have to
split the cost into 2 payments, if that's an option,
since this comes a little unexpected.
