Thanks to Clayarters, I have several suggestions for removing
recalcitrant wheelheads. If any of you would like these forwarded, I'll
be glad to do so. Several were sent direct mail rather than to Clayart.

Hi all:

I'm in the process of getting parts together and made to build a treadle
wheel. Rather than cutting and machining a wheel head I'd like to by one.

I've heard Amaco(?) makes them.

Does any one have a number, url or e-mail address for them or anyone else
who sells/makes good quality wheelheads?

TIA for any advice

hoping that the Environment department will approve our modification
attempts and let us fire the Tozan Noborigama in August. (If not we'll
probably ask Clayart for e-mail/letter writing help.) Vinces success proved
what a force this forum can be.

Contact Randall Pottery Equipment at 716-461-0136. They sell machined
aluminum ones as well as some sort of polymer wheelhead (have two of
these....work well). They also have their aluminum =22bucket heads=22 that =
fit
the plaster bats. All fit a tapered friction fit machined shaft..... great
design. No set screws or keys.

Most any manufacturer should be able and willing to sell a =22replacement=22
wheelhead for their equipment. Find one you like and just order from the
manufacturer. Just say you need a replacement for a bent head if they
don't want to sell one spearate.

BEst,
