>Vince- those workshops sure sound great. And reasonable. If ever your

We have had lots of requests for winter workshops, but we have our regular
academic program at that time, and only a short holiday break, so it has not
been practical. It is a shame that the best workshop venues always seem to
be during the summer. I know that some of the workshop centers do offer
winter workshops, and perhaps they will respond online.

Hi All,
I help run a non profit workshop conference run by craftspeople and geared to
experienced craftspeople. We have it every other year so the next one will be
in February of 1999. We usually have 2 clay workshops. It lasts 4 days and is
A BLAST. This year we had Randy Johnston and Akio Takamori. Lat time we had
George Kokis and Ellen Shankin. Email me and I'll put you on our mailing
list!

Hi all:
I am looking at developing a winter workshop program here at Brookgreen
Gardens. This is a great place to visit in the winter..the weather is
mild, the people are nice, accommodations are reasonable, and there are
lots of things to do around here....golf, fishing, history stuff, ect.
(sorry to sound like a one person tourist board...I just can't help it!)
Anyway, I would love to get some input from those that are able to take
workshops in the winter...what do *you* want? i.e... type of workshops,
times, (days vs evenings, weekends vs weekdays)....anything you think is
important.
....your wish *may* become my command....
Please email me privately at lleary@sccoast.net. I can't promise I will
respond right away...after all, mel and toni are coming! Yikes!
(oh, my hands are full...I think *I* am going to go lie down now....)
Thanks for your help,
Lori Leary
