Hi, 1st time caller here. I gave a student the following recipe-
AP Green fireclay -30
Wollastonite -20
P Grog -20
G Grog -10
Sand -10
This recipe is for a ^5 lo shrinkage, weather resistant clay body. I
don't
know where i got the recipe and never used it myself, so naturally i
told
her to test it,but alas.,, this body started to melt at 04 and
completely slumped into a pool at ^6. Is this a bad recipe or were the
wrong materials and or proportions used?
