the best wood is pine.........no question. little sticks about 1 inch and
then about 16 inches long. pine....not hardwood, not oak...we use pine
slablumber then split it with an ax......as small as possible. we
also get some cedar, it works too, but all oak and maple does is burn for a
long time.......you want ingnition....fast and furious........"no smoke, stoke"
