The Santa Cruz "Kama No Kai" (kiln study group) has just finished the
first firing of it's new five chambered wood fired kiln. I will be
traveling to NCECA next week and would love to chat with any other "wood
burners" out there about our experience and yours while in Las Vegas. Our
kiln is approx. 10 feet wide, four to six feet high and has five chambers
two of which are hidden with no doors. The first firing was seven days in
lenght. We are unloading this weekend.
