both nils and me will do whatever we can to
help those that have had crashes with gas/electric kilns.

we do not have a definite answer.
we have seen strange things happen.

it is like a kiln made from kurt/mel flat top plans
a few months ago.

it would not work. 19 hour firing/100 bucks of propane.
25 cubic foot kiln that i fire in 4.5 hours...to cone 13.
they said the plan was followed to a T.
i went to the city...looked at the kiln.

it had a bag wall...big bag wall...an 80 sq inch flue.
the stack was so loose i could see through it.
i said:

`this is nothing like the plan`.

`oh, we know, a guy had some changes he thought
would help`.
we put things right, fired it. half the time, half the gas.

again, i am not saying folks did not follow the gas/electric plan.
i have tried to be specific, to a point...but every application
is different...different coils, different brick, different gas, different
burner...so..in many ways i can only make suggestions....outcomes
vary...just like gas or wood fired kilns. i have seen some train kilns
where john neely plans were used...and they did not work...and that can
be a 15,000 dollar mistake.

i will call feriz after my next road trip...which starts tomorrow.
another kiln to look at...two in fact. they don't work.
`did you follow the plan?` `sure...to the T.`

robin has sent the brick and the coil section to me...i will look, then
forward to feriz in florida. the best way to handle things.

but, like any kiln....home made...things vary...but we always help
get it right. as best we can.
