I have a chance to make an offer on a Brent CXC that has spent alo of =
it's life in storage. The owner says they took it out and started it =
ever so often.
Any advice ?
Thanks !

My Mom and Dad both threw on Brent C wheels during their years as
production potters. Dad's was a '69 and Mom's was a '71 (or
thereabouts) Both wheels are still in EXCELLENT shape. I'd even go
out on a limb and say that I'd rather have one of those old wheels
than one of the new Brent wheels just rolling off the line now. I'd
say about $500.00 for the CXC
Does that help?

I am still throwing on a Brent model B that I bought in
1975.
It still works just fine and I prefer it to the CXC and the
Pacifica
that are sitting right beside it.
