Bastarache's website (http://lapoterie.blogspot.com/) has some gorgeous
tawny gold glazes. However, as I looked closely I realized the rich gold
tones of the clay had a role to play in them Can anyone suggest where to
get clay like that? I don't see that Laguna has any ^9.5 clay bodies to
match. Or, suggestions for a slip that would enhance the gold tone?
Lesley in Santa Barbara, where we actually just got 3/4" of rain,
amazing for April and lovely in a drought year!
