All you need is a box cutter. Use a straight edge and score the sheet. Then
you just snap it over the edge of the table. Usually comes off quite clean.

Now I am trying to figure out the best way to cut circles for bats. I guess
you can get a masonry blade for a scroll saw. Definitely for a rotary saw. I
believe someone posted about using Hardiboard for bats. Not sure how they
cut them.

Patty,
I should have mentioned I use the 1/4 sheets of hardiboard. A bit easier to
cut than the 1/2 inch. But, you can cut them the same way. Score with a box
cutter and snap.
