I am buying a Scott Creek 5" extruder. However, I really don't have any
wall area to mount it on. Unlike the Bailey's table mount, the Scott Creek
doesn't offer such a thing. Anyone have any ideas on how to either table
mount it or make a sturdy portable mount. Also, what is a good ht. to mount
it at? I am only 5'1".
Anyone have any experience with the Scott Creek extruders?

Michelle,,,
I have the round Scott Creek model and had the same problem. Got some
square 1 inch iron tubing and made a stand for mine works great. Costs $50
for the iron and $15 to get it welded up.

Look in your area for welding shops.
You could have a stand fabricated from angle iron that would bolt to the
table.
Take the extruder barrel with you to the shop so they can match the hole
locations.
Mount the top of the barrel no more than chest height.
