jenkins kiln

I am thinking of buying a Jenkin kiln for $150 including an exhaust system. It's pretty small, about hip height on the stand. The bricks inside look good, there are a couple of slightly bulging elements. What do you think? Do any of you have any experience with the jenkins brand? Thanks for the input.

Randy, Thank you for the extruder stand picture, I like it; does anyone else
have any ideas. My home studio is my front living room we never used. So, I
am a little tight on space and still trying to keep it looking somewhat like
a living room.

The company should be Jen-Ken Kilns
3615 Ventura Drive West, Lakeland, FL 33811
(863) 648-0585
They used to be located in Sarasota where I live but moved to Lakeland
many years ago.

I used the kilns when I was teaching. When I went to my second school
in 1973 we had those kilns. I think I had the first kiln for 20 years
and then replaced it with another one. This was before exhaust systems.
It served me well.
