Hi,
Thought I would ask on list if some of you more technical types know if
there are any simple tests that a typical high school chemistry lab could do
to find out silica and/or alumina content of a sample of coal?
Semi-quantitative would be fine.

Also if there is an easy test for sulfur compounds in said coal?
Please reply directly to me since this is off topic.
Thanks!
