Whoo Hoo!
I just had to send a quick note to say that I am finally in process of
building my first kiln. This is going to be a modified version of the Olsen
fast fire. The modification is that instead of two fireboxes, it will have
one bourry box. This will have an arch put over it (sorry to disappoint
some of you - but I like the look of the arch vs the flat top). Here are
the pictures of the progress I have made so far.

I will keep everyone updated as I get it finished and start firing.

Who is reveling in the fact that the 6 feet of snow from this winter is gone
& the ground is finally dry enough to start doing things outside
