The Art School at Old Church in Demarest, NJ, long known for it's top-notch
December Sale is having a benefit auction to disperse the collection of
founder Mikhail Zakin - potter extraordinaire! Mikhail has had a long and
distinguished ceramics career from her early relationship with the Black
Mountain folks through her continuing dear friendship with Karen Karnes who
annually juries and participates in the Holiday Show in NJ -

The Benefit will be held on Saturday June 23 at 6pm with David Rago,
Auctioneer - the $60 per person included a reception of light fare and
drink. A silent auction and will be June 21 and 22 from 10 to 5.

Some of the sixty four ceramicists represented are:

Richard Aerni
Pascal Chimelar
Malcom Davis
Karen Karnes
Tashiko Takaezu
Betty Woodman
Ann Stannard
