Kaname Takada on sun 12 may 96
For Immediate Release:
Two artists from Japan will visit the Columbus College of Art & Design, to
offer slide lectures and demonstrations, at noon, Monday, June 10 and
Wednesday, June 12, V-Hall, room 110 on CCAD's campus. The artists, Kazuo
Yamaji and Yoshiki Sakai, are both from Kasama, Ibaraki, Japan.
Yamaji will demonstrate the slip decoration technique usinf paper-resist.
He also will demonstrate the hamdbuilding of vessel.
Sakai will demonstrate glazing techniques including wax resist. He also
will demonstrate wheel throwing.
Admission is free.
