No, but it will let you get away with murder. (;^)

My in-house family, self, Ms. and Daughter enjoyed the
diversion of the Harry Potter,(yes ...with an a) series.
This is where we learned the First Rule of Wizardry:

People are stupid.

Now, my family members constantly try to negotiate life
with a degree of perspective. (Well, we each try to at least
keep that running in the background.) So, for the humor of it,
we will raise an index finger just slightly, as a "get a load of this",
signal. Almost instantly interjects humor into a situation that
may have been trying. Of course we have to keep our head
down in a culture that takes itself so seriously.

Three things off the top that affected my life profoundly:

Conformity and Deviation class at Penn State.
Cardew sharing spirit.
The idea that we are like fleas scratching out an existence
on the dust of a crusty molten ball hurdling through space.
