My friend Craig Easter of Fresno California was making wonderful large cone
1 salted pots in the 80s and early 90s, until a neighbor lady of his (a RISD
grad with just enough knowledge to make her dangerous) reported him to the
authorities for all of his hazardous activities. Next time I talk with him
I will try to find out more about his processes. His work was very
colorful, but without the typical orange-peel effects of hi-temp salt.
