Hi and thanks very much to all who offered advice on
my slip question. I have been using my clay body for
slip because I also use the (dried) slips for colored
clay inlay and nerikomi experiments, and want to avoid
compatibility problems. Also I like to keep things
simple! In the light of this, the suggestion to use a
whiter-firing clay body is a good one (why didn't I
think of that?) and I will look into it as soon as
I've used up my current stock.
Meanwhile I will try 10% Zircopax, and if that doesn't
work will try out the more complicated suggestions.
Thanks again for your help
Sylvia
