The Gallery at the Depot is pleased to welcome back the 3rd Annual Cascade
Clay Artists' exhibit and sale "Clay, Fire and Form".
New this year will be a group themed project, "Light My Fire". Proceeds
from the silent auction of individual light items will be donated to The
Skagit Valley College Ceramic Art Scholarship fund.
Members of Cascade Clay Artists are potters, hand builders and sculptors
who share common goals - to explore their development as clay artists and
to increase the public's perception of clay as an art form.
The group is made up of both part and full-time professionals representing
four counties in Northwest Washington State.
The range of art produced by members goes to the extraordinary. Their work
is represented in national galleries, public and private commissions as
well as articles in trade publications and magazines.
Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to visit the historic
Anacortes Gallery at the Depot and other attractions in the area. Take Hi
way 20 to downtown Anacortes, turn right at 6th Street to "R" and the Depot.
