paperclay repair

I repaired a crack in the rim of a bisqued sculptural piece, with paperclay.
Do I need to bisque fire the piece again before glazing it?

Thanks,

Marty Morgan

Hi,
In response to your question about repairing with paper clay, it has been my
experience that you do not have to bisque fire again. You can simply glaze
your sculpture after the paper clay has dried. Then fire to the desired
temperature for your glaze work.

Marty, that is what has worked for me. I don't know if it has to be
done or not though.
Hope this helps
