Last year I was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to South =
Korea on a potter's tour with Arthur and Mary Park. Highlights included =
two shows in which participants could exhibit and sell their work, =
participation in workshops and demonstrations at the International =
Celadon Festival, visiting many of the ceramic Cultural Treasure in =
their studios, traveling with potters from the US, Canada, and =
Australia... just an outstanding experience and so inexpensive! (roughly =
$100 US per day - this included private bus transportation with a =
translator, admissions to museums and galleries, 90% of meals AND all =
hotel accommodation! (Air travel expenses not included.)=20
Arthur and Mary are organizing the trip again for this September. This =
trip may also include an opportunity to visit China at the end of the 15 =
day Korean portion.
The Park's are not part of a travel agency; they are potters with roots =
in South Korea who share with other potters.=20
