Years ago, when I was the Advertising Mgr. for the American Art Clay Company,
I had the pleasure of working with Justin Brady, then the sort of ceramic
guru for the folks doing research and Development. He demonstrated a technique to
me called "Weeping Gold."
Now, some forty years later, I remember that it was fun and would like to
duplicate it, but I cannot recall what we did in Brady's lab. Can any of you
psychoceramic wonders set me down that path again?
Sincerely and hopefully,
Bill McPherson

Hey Bill,
I dont know if it was an overglaze technique or not.. and I dont know
what the technique you did looked like.. but if it was a
dripping metallic gold look , it could be done by painting on Liquid
bright gold over a fired glaze and then dripping dispersing fluid on it
which will re-liquify the gold and cause it to run ...The
dispersing fluid also evaporates very quickly ( within a
few seconds) so the running action will freeze.
Fire to anywhere from ^018 to ^014
