Maid O'Mud on mon 2 jul 07
I hope I'll be answering everyone's questions:
1. Normally the kiln goes 13 to 13 1/2 hours to 05 set to "slow bisque"
2. I glazed all the pots today, and they seemed to take the glaze
normally
3. The kiln has 3 thermocouples
4. I rec'd no error message of any kind
5. My concern was I may have harmed the bricks and/elements/thermocouples
6. Apparently I'm in very good company
Seems I got off lucky :-) Thank you everyone for your answers.
If I missed answering someone....oops, another brain fart (sorry).

Sam: I go slow with my bisque firings, too, and they take 13 hours like
yours. I use the slow bisque program on my L&L. The firing schedule for
that to cone 06, according to the manual, is:
degress/hr temp
80 250
200 1000
100 1100
180 1569
80 1819
Total 12.73 hours
Using the fast bisque program to cone 06 would still take 9.59 hours. I
think doing anything faster than that would be too fast. I'm not in a
hurry.
