can you help vince and i identify this kiln?

Dear Clayarters;

Vince Pitelka has been helping me figure out what to do with this kiln, =
and he suggested that I post these pictures to see if anybody could =
recognize it and/or knew what it was originally designed to do. It is an =
old updraft gas sagger or muffle kiln with eight burner ports. The kiln =
has passed through many hands, has been painted silver and I cannot =
locate any identifying information on it.

Judging from the way it is constructed ,it reminds me of an Alpine
(Out of Fresno, Ca) gas kiln of the middle fifties, early sixties...
