Concepts of =0A=0Athe golden mean, Greek,=0Anine square composition, Chines=
e, =0Aradial and bilateral symmetry, Western European=0Aand the psychologic=
al appeal of the infant, American=0A=0Aare all universal aspects of what is=
considered beautiful=0Athat has no subjective quality whatsoever. It is s=
imply a=0Aformulaic design of what will have mass appeal to humans=0Aof any=
given ethnicity or nationality and that also crosses=0Abarriers of time.=
=0A=0ABeauty, like everything else, will bear scientific scrutiny.=0AAnd I =
DO have the degree in philosophy you mentioned,=0Aso I can officially say t=
his. A deeper underlying beauty, =0Athat which will appeal to all humans, =
cross-culturally, both=0Aexists and is objectivly declined. Lesser fads wh=
ich pass=0Aaway usually adhere to these standards on a basic level but =0Ae=
mbody current memes.=0A=0AAttractiveness is superficial, but beauty is down=
to the bones.=0A=0ASo to put it in more concrete terms. Angelina Jolie an=
d I have =0Asomething in common, we are both extremely symmetrical in our =
=0Afaces, have a near perfect forehead to facial feature ratio, we=0Ahave =
relatively big eyes and small chins, and both of us have full=0Alips. So w=
e are both pretty and will remain so until one of us is=0Ahorribly diefigur=
ed. But she is au currant regarding the social meme=0Aof our times, she is=
adolescently thin. I am not. So she is rather=0Aattractive to the common=
social norm where I am rather fat.=0A=0ABut I still have no trouble trappi=
n myself a mate, because I am =0Abeautiful despite my fatness, and in other=
times or culture would be =0Aeven more beautiful because of my fat, wherea=
s she might be considered=0Aa strong candidate for the plague and undesirab=
le for that reason alone.=0A=0ASo now apply all this to the aesthetic featu=
res of your pots and there =0Ayou have it.=0A=0AE=0A =0A=0A =0AElizabeth Pr=

hehe. Thanks Elizabeth for making that so clear. Er....I think.

I'm a sucker for nostalgia. Have we talked about nostalgia within this
thread? I'm off to investigate something else now. Toodles.
