Conner Burns demonstration workshop Montgomery, AL August 25-26, 2007
Treat yourself to some great clay in the heart of the south, at Auburn
University Montgomery campus. Enjoy a weekend of fresh ideas and forming
techniques for making vessels with Conner Burns. Conner will discuss and
demonstrate his process of making (wheel thrown/altered and combined slab)
individual vessels that work together to form sets. If time allows, Conner
will demonstrate his sprayed glazing techniques. Conner has been included
in the '500 Bowls' and '500 Cups' books as well as featured in Ceramics
Monthly and Clay Times. Conner also was a resident artist for Steven Hill at
Red Star Studios in Kansas City. Most recently, Conner received a
fellowship from the MS Arts Council, to work at the Mary Anderson Center.
Cost of the workshop is $125 if registered by August 1. Checks or credit
