Dear Lee Love,=20

Was that the Own Rye article in CT Vol 10, "Water in Wood fired Kilns" ?

All the best,

Ivor

Hi Ivor,

Yes.

I have no explanations myself. I only know the results
from experimenting with water introduction in my own kiln. I only
get reduction effects at high temps.

I have introduced water into the fireboxes with various
methods and also by spraying water directly into the ware chamber
with a weed sprayer, the same way we used to introduce soda solution
into the soda kiln at Northern Clay Center. Both ways produce a lot
of back pressure.
