What a wonderful new book on Wildenhain. I am so proud to own an
autographed copy of :POTTERY; FORM AND EXPRESSION which she gave me when I
built a kick wheel for
her first "artist in residence" sojourn at Scripps College, Claremont,
California. She was one of the most influencing potter's in America at a
time of great change and growth in the 50's!

If you run, don't walk, to www.southbearpress.org you will see there is a
magnificent book out on the Wildenhains and on the Bauhaus. Yes it is $75
plus $10 shipping, but Hanukah, Christmas AND your birthday ARE coming....

It's about time! I've been interested in Heir Wildenhain ever since
you shared with me those reminiscences of your SAC teacher.
I will have to save up all my Dr Pepper money for a year so that I can
buy it, but at least something has now been sent out into the world.
