air bubbles in glaze

Hi everyone,
I mixed up a few different commercial (Standard)glazes 2 nights ago using
a jiffy mixer and a whisk. I attempted to glaze both yesterday and today
(stirring the bucket with a whisk), and am getting horrible pinholes on my
pieces. Even if I dip my hand in the glaze (I know, I know...), I get
pinholes on my hand. Standard suggested using a spatula to mix instead of
a whisk, but that doesn't help either. There are still tiny bubbles on the
surface of the glaze, and even bigger bubbles on my pieces. I'm really
stumped. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Allison
