coconuts in the mail

Oh, beans, Wayne -

I've PROCESSED those same coconuts. they had duct tape on them with a Sharpie-written address. And stamps. Just put them in the mail container with everything else. I even had to process an old leather valise-type briefcase with a skateboard duct-taped to the bottom, so the thing was like mobile luggage. Just add a pull string. People are weird.

Gail,

Here in Saint James City FL. the post office has coconuts on the counter.
I think it is a local thing and they are trying to keep up with the demand.


The nuts have a painted on surface that says To: .......and another
From: ...... As far as I know, they ship them like that. Don't know what
they charge. I guess people think they are cute!

I have coconut palms in my yard and am always careful when I am out and
about working in the yard. They can knock you silly if they don't kill you
if and when they knock you on the noggin.
