hi lp!
i had that problem with a shimpo. the bottom line was i needed a new
controller for the wheel itself. it was close to $200. hope that's not the
case for you.

I have a brent e and I can fix the problem of an wheel with a mind of its on by turning a little screw underneath the foot pedel..hope your problem is as simple
