interesting opportunity?

"As the clay is in the hands of the potter, so are we in your hands, oh
Lord!"

Jonathan: I think the opportunity is on their side! I have found more than
once that when one volunteers for charities one is doing it for the sake of
Heaven, not for any benefit.

They hope to attract a large audience/congregation, and that is fine. You
will end up with a bunch of little bored kids with bad head colds standing
and gawping around you.

The congregation is rich and powerful? They are going to endanger their
Armanis and Guccis to crowd around you? And put off the first martini just
to chat with you?

If you feel like doing this for experience and the sake of Heaven, do it.
Anything beyond that is hope.

However. Were you to do it:

Make them pay you WAY UP FRONT for your expenses!!!! That is a per-hour
fee, (including preparation and cleanup) transportation (if more than
negligible cost) plus a price on whatever they choose to keep of your work.
Make sure they provide a helper/gofer to be there while you work--and to
help set-up and cleanup.

In some churches they put little flyers in the prayer books in the pews--to
tell of coming events. If you do this, see if you can put a little flyer
about yourself, address and contact info in the books as well.

And in memory of Adam, DO use red clay!

And, de tout coeur, bless you!
