I don't know the answer to our healthcare crisis but I do know we have one.
Personally, I'd like to see professional organizations, even loose ones like
our guilds, able to offer group insurance to members. Individual insurance
is more expensive, covers less, and has deductibles in the tens of thousands
of dollars. Spreading out the risk is what lowers the cost.

Rosemary and all:
For some time, as chair of the Potter's Council Membership Committee, I have been attempting without success
to find a company that underwrites health insurance. My goal is to find a plan or set of plans which
we could offer to the membership of the Potter's Council.
As I said, I have had no success (and I hate to admit that, being as stubborn as I am) so I am asking
for the help of all of you on Clayart.

I am seeking a company that would be interested in offering a health insurance plan to a non-profit.
If you are covered by such a plan, or by a health insurer that deals in _national_ organizations, or know of such a company; would you please drop me a line and
let me know the name of the company? Not the people who employ you and offer the insurance, but the name of the insurance company itself.
I don't want personal information, just the name of the insurance company that insures you and yours. I'll take it from there.

Please DO NOT post this information to the list. No need to fill the list with yet another health care thread.
Send me an email at wjsvt@sover.net

Your help is sincerely appreciated.
