I, too, received the same email...
Would only deal with this person if they were willing to take pots rather
than dollars.
I have tried to work out the same deal (pots for services) with my mortgage
holder, doctor,
dentist and the vet I see with my 6 dogs plus the 4 foster dogs that share
my house & studio.
So far, no one is interested in my pots in exchange for services....
Damn.

I didn't see the original message to which this refers but I also received
the same threatening email. I called the police. An officer came out
(because it is a death threat essentially) and read the email. His
suggestion was to trash it (as it did not have specific information
regarding my family or me) but if I received it again I am to call them
again.
The officer said that a similar email had been traced back to Somalia but
then they lost it. He told us that an older gentleman had responded to the
email and sent the $6000 only to be asked for more. 18,000 later he finally
contacted the police - of course they could do nothing at that point.
All I know is it shook me and made me a bit nervous. Haven't seen one like
that before!
