Leaving my position as a daily lurker and sometime question poser I have so=
mething of value to share with the list.

Beginning a large handbuilding project about 10 days ago I grabbed some new=
spaper and put it on the banding wheel before the first slab. Upon complet=
ing the coiled pot I removed it and the paper (sticking in most spots) fro=
m the banding wheel and discovered that the paper had etched deeply ino the=
aluminum wheel head.

The paper I had used was from the slick, glossy advertising section, not re=
gular newsprint--mistake, mistake.=20
