kitchen tools for clay

When I bought a new pizza cutter, I tossed the old one in my clay tool
box. I use a quilter's ruler I got on sale and my pizza cutter to cut
out pieces for hand built. I use the pizza cutter to cut around molds
to get rid of the excess clay. Works better than a knife.

Jim uses a lot of styrofoam to build sets for the theater arts
department, and he got me a couple of electric knives for cutting
styrofoam for drape molds. BTW, Jim says there's a special liquid nails
for foam. Don't use the regular liquid nails on styrofoam unless you
want to watch the styrofoam dissolve.
