Eva,
Mine are in the same room too. They are vented separately and the
spray booth also has a lot of power -- like Patty Kaliher said -- I
don't see any spray dust under the lights in that room. I don't have
any problem with it. I do think the main thing is enough power and
proper venting for the spray booth -- big enough vent pipe and no U
turns!
When I designed my studio -- with lots of help from the many great
lists in the archives here on what to think about -- I decided to put
kilns, spray booth and glaze mixing all in one room to keep the messy
hot stuff out of my clay way. It's worked out great tho I wish i had
one more window it there!@
All the best

Subject: spray booth and electric kiln in same room?
Hello,
Anyone have a spray booth and electric kiln in the same room?
Our guild is planning to move our spray booth out of our general working
area into a small room where one of our electric kilns is housed.
However
there is some question that perhaps overspray might get into the
electric
controls of the kiln and do damage. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.
