waterfall brown on white body clay?

All,

I'm wondering whether anyone here has actually tried the Waterfall Brown from
"Mastering Cone 6 Glazes". Particularly,

1) the authors tested it on a buff-colored stoneware. I'm wondering how it
turns out on a white-body stoneware like B-mix.

2) they also warn about running. How risky is it? Will it be runnier with
white stoneware than dark stoneware?

All,

Thank you everyone who replied to this question and sent me picktures.

I guess I'm mixing up a test batch of WB, then ...

I use the Waterfall Brown frequently on Cone 6 BMix. It is gorgeous,
often shows sparks or rivulets of red amidst the luscious green and
brown. There's a brightness to it. I have used it on Standard's #306, a
brown clay, and I think it's a bit muddy. I use a variation of the slow
cool schedule that is published in MC6G.

Yes, it DOES run. Glaze application is the key. Too thin, it's not
interesting at all. Too thick, it will run and pool, and the runs I
have see have not been a pretty green. When you get it right, it's a
beautiful glaze.

And yes, John and Ron warned the readers that this glaze would be a
test of mixing and application.
