if we're getting historical...Palissy one of my favorites!!!!
Also, Paula Winokur used to be a functional potter. She taught us
throwing at the
Phila. College of Art before she taught at Beaver College. She now
only does porcelain sculpture.
Also..me too. I do pottery and architectural ceramics with sculptural
additions.
