I remember just reading about this subject, but it never answered the
questions I have.
I have the ashes of our 20 year old cat that just passed away that I would
like to use in a glaze. Also my 94 year old great-aunt is in the last
stages of her life, and reading the story of the woman who's ashes were
spread on pots gave me this idea.
When the time comes, I would love to make some pots or something for
family members, and have my aunt's ashes in the glaze, so......
I do not make my own glazes, do I just sprinkle the ashes over the wet
glaze and fire in an electric kiln to cone 5?? Is it that easy or is
there more to it than that????
I don't know how the rest of the family would feel about this, but I
copied that article and plan to show it to them, then propose to do the
same thing........ hopefully.
Any help would be nice. Thanks-
Bunny
