I attended a glass conference last June at Pittsburgh's
David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Sunlight poured in from
huge glass roof panels. The sun lit up booths like
spotlights as it moved across the floor. The Lawrence is my
favorite convention center because the sunlight is so
cheerful.
Be sure to stay at the Omni, which is within walking
distance of the Lawrence. I spent about two hours a day
shuttling to and from the center because my hotel was
farther away.
