Olympic 2327G Torchbearer kiln. Fires to cone 10 on propane. Comes with
kiln sitter, thermocouple saftey valve and ignition ring, and a two-tank
setup with two 15 gallon propane tanks and a nice valve. Included are all
the accessories required for firing: high-temperature goggles and gloves,
boxes of 50 cones (06, 07, 08, 8, 9, 10, 11), sets of 6 posts in varying
lengths (2,3,4,6,8, and 12 inches), three 2.5"x4.5"x9" soft bricks, 3 1"
and 5 5/8"shelves, a bag of fiber, 8 tripods for holding small objects, a
Uei DT200 thermometer with two sensors, an extra valve, and peep-hole
plugs. Everything is like new--the kiln has been fired only 15 times or
so. There is some rust on the ignition ring but it doesn't affect
performance.

The kiln comes apart in sections so you can change the firing volume and
it is portable. I've fired it to cone 10 a number of times with no
problems. The price of everything new is over $2500 (I added up the
prices from Aardvark and an online retailer, minus shipping, and left out
a number of things I didn't have prices for.) I've taken 40% off this.
I'll include all the glazes, books, raw materials, and a scale listed
below as well.

I'm in Pasadena, CA. Respond to me at bmoision@jpl.nasa.gov, which I
check more often. I can email photos as well.

Thanks,
Bruce

You would think a rocket scientist (jpl.nasa.gov ???) would be smarter or at
least be able to add.............. or is that just my spam alert sounding
off?

I forgot to list a price the first time--I'm asking $1500 for the kiln and
all accessories. To come up with what I thought would be a good price, I
estimated what I paid and took 40% off.

Larry,
I'm not sure what your point is. This is not spam. I'm selling a kiln,
and I do work at JPL.
