3. Professional Opportunity, Clay Studio Co-ordinator, Craft Council Clay St=
udio

The Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador is a provincial organization
working to enhance excellence in craft for the cultural and economic benefit=

of the province. The Craft Council=92s Clay Studio serves both the general
public and the professional membership of the Craft Council. Programming
includes both recreational and professional instruction.

The primary area of responsibility for the Clay Studio Coordinator is the
management of the Craft Council=92s Clay Studio, with responsibility for
maintenance of the studio and studio equipment, coordination and promotion
of classes and workshops, and support to members and studio users. The
position may also include some requirement for teaching classes.

The Craft Council is seeking the following in a Clay Studio coordinator:

demonstrated ability to maintain and operate equipment used in a
professional ceramics studio
teaching and/or demonstration experience
excellent organizational and communications skills
post secondary graduation and / or related work experience
experience in the not-for-profit sector, and knowledge of the craft industry=
